The first part of matches in Round of 16 of WESG CS:GO Grand Finals’ Playoffs is finished. Valiance, OpTic Gaming, Fnatic, and AGO Esports won their series and move on to the next stage, eliminating four teams from the competition.

The day started with a match between Valiance and Team Singularity. The Serbian squad won the game 2-0, 16-9 Inferno and 19-17 Mirage, with Luka "emi" Vuković leaving the server as the MVP: 57-38 K-D, 1.45 HLTV KDR. After that, OpTic Gaming crushed Alpha Red 2-0. The Thai team didn’t even manage to go over double-digits on both maps, respectively.

 

The next round of matches marked success of Fnatic and AGO Esports. The Swedish squad showed more promise than yesterday as they beat Team Russia 2-0: 16-12 Dust II, 16-12 Mirage. In the other game, AGO outclassed Team Ukraine as they didn’t drop a map. The Polish five crushed them on Overpass and Dust II, 16-5 and 16-9, and Grzegorz "SZPERO" Dziamałek was the MVP: 1.66 HLTV KDR, 48-23 K-D, 100.8 ADR.
